Qyerra is a sustainable fashion marketplace that connects conscious shoppers with curated ethical brands and upcycled designers. The site combines a clean, mobile first shopping experience with transparent product pages (origin, materials, and estimated carbon footprint), advanced filters, and curated collections. An editorial hub offers upcycling guides and brand stories, while an integrated carbon offset checkout and merchant dashboard support small producers. Built for discovery and impact, Qyerra makes sustainable choices simple, stylish, and trustworthy.

Client background
Qyerra is a sustainable fashion marketplace connecting conscious shoppers with curated ethical brands and upcycled designers. The product emphasizes transparency origin, materials, and estimated carbon footprint while providing a boutique shopping experience for eco-minded consumers and small producers.

Challenge
Qyerra had strong supplier relationships and a clear mission but struggled to convert curious visitors into buyers and to grow its merchant base. Key problems included low marketplace conversion, limited merchant onboarding throughput, unclear product discovery, and weak trust signals around sustainability claims.

Solution
We delivered a focused product + growth program to improve discovery, trust, and merchant enablement:

  • UX & conversion: redesigned product pages to foreground provenance (origin, materials, CO₂ estimate), simplified checkout (guest checkout + express pay), and added smart filters (material, ethical certs, price, carbon).

  • Merchant onboarding & dashboard: created a self service onboarding flow with templated listings, automated image checks, and a seller dashboard for inventory, orders, and sustainability reporting.

  • Sustainability trust features: implemented verified badges for audited brands, an optional product-level CO₂ badge, and an integrated carbon-offset checkout add on.

  • Content & community: launched an editorial hub (brand stories, upcycling guides) and a makers’ spotlight series to drive search traffic and build emotional connection.

  • Performance & retention: optimized site speed and mobile checkout; introduced post-purchase journeys (care tips, referral incentives) and an email lifecycle campaign.

  • Partnerships & amplification: ran targeted collaborations with eco influencers and ethical lifestyle newsletters to drive high intent traffic and merchant referrals.

Results (4 months post-launch)

  • Organic traffic: +70%

  • Marketplace conversion rate: 1.6% to 3.4% (more than doubled)

  • Gross merchandise volume (GMV): +48%

  • Average order value (AOV): +15% (bundling & cross sell improvements)

  • Merchant growth: onboarded +38 vetted sellers and reduced onboarding time by 60%

  • Sustainability impact: buyers opted into carbon-offset at checkout on 28% of orders (≈ 2.6 tonnes CO₂ offset in 4 months)
